About the Recipe
This is one of those sandwiches that doesn’t need to be complicated to feel special. Fragrant garlic-rosemary focaccia, warm turkey, melted cheese, and just enough richness to make it feel like more than “just a sandwich.” It’s perfect for a simple lunch, an easy dinner, or a way to turn leftover turkey into something worth sitting down for.

Ingredients
1 slice Leaven Heaven Garlic Rosemary Focaccia
2–3 slices roasted turkey (leftover or deli-style)
1 slice provolone, mozzarella, or Swiss cheese
1 teaspoon butter or olive oil
Optional additions: thinly sliced onion, arugula, Dijon mustard, or mayo
Preparation
Preheat a skillet or panini press over medium heat.
Lightly butter or oil one side of the focaccia.
Layer turkey and cheese on the unbuttered side.
Add any optional toppings, if using.
Place the sandwich buttered-side down in the pan and cook until golden.
Flip carefully and cook until the cheese is melted and the focaccia is crisp.
Slice and serve warm.
