About the Recipe
These warm, melty sliders are the perfect way to turn leftover ham or turkey into something everyone wants seconds of. Soft dinner rolls, buttery tops, and just enough mustard and herbs to make them feel special without overthinking it.

Ingredients
12 Leaven Heaven sourdough dinner rolls, sliced horizontally
12–16 oz cooked ham or turkey, thinly sliced
6–8 oz cheese (Gruyère, Havarti, or provolone), sliced
2–3 tablespoons Dijon or honey-Dijon mustard (optional but recommended)
Butter Topping
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
Pinch of salt
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease or line a baking dish.
Place the bottom halves of the rolls in the dish. Spread lightly with Dijon or honey-Dijon, if using.
Layer with sliced ham or turkey, then top evenly with cheese.
Add the top halves of the rolls.
Stir together melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and salt. Brush generously over the tops.
Cover loosely with foil and bake 15 minutes, until heated through.
Uncover and bake 5–10 minutes more, until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Leaven Heaven Notes and Variations:
Ham + Gruyère gives classic croque-monsieur vibes.
Turkey + Havarti or provolone is lighter but still ultra-melty.
Great for using up holiday leftovers or feeding a crowd with minimal effort.
